On Tuesday, 19th July, 2022, President Muhammadu Buhari unveiled the
Nigerian National Petroleum Company (NNPC) Limited, a development
which saw the Company officially transiting into a limited liability
entity as enshrined in the provisions of the Petroleum Industry Act
(PIA) 2021.
The historic event marks a crucial change in
structure of the Company, as it would now be regulated in line with
the principles of the Companies and Allied Matters Act (CAMA). The
event, which took place at the State House Conference Centre, in
Abuja, was attended by dignitaries from within and outside the
country.
